Our first peek at a very tiny baby Mickley, about the size of a kidney bean, with a heart beating at a healthy 167 BPM.

The next day we shared the news with our parents and immediate family. We shared with my parents at small Thanksgiving dinner at their house, presenting them with a printed photo of the ultra sound and a “Grandma’s Kitchen” candle. Emily’s parents were out of town at the time so we shared with them and several family members over a Zoom call.
